On September 9, 2003, Mr. Chain Sandhu was honored by “We the People International Channel" at The Dearborn Inn in Dearborn Michigan.  Mr. Sandhu received a “2003 VISION IN AMERICA” award and a $500 check towards the charitable organization of his choice.  The program was hosted by International Channel Networks, Comcast Cable and Bright house Networks.  This award recognizes individuals who have devoted themselves for the advancement of Corporate Citizenship and for the advancement of immigrants in the United States.  Representatives from Mayors office, City of Detroit and City of Dearborn, were present who spoke on behalf of the honorable city mayors recognizing his success as an executive and as an entrepreneur.  They also appreciated Mr. Sandhu’s dedication for helping not only the Asian Indian community but also the people from other countries.  At present NYX Inc. have 2200 employees in 12 different plants representing 33 different countries. Mr. Conrad Hirth, Director of Sales and Marketing, International Channel Networks, Mr. Fred Eatons, Director of Corporate affairs, Comcast Cable and Ms. Leigh Byrd, Public Relations Manager, Bright House Networks shared their views regarding the importance of recipient’s contributions to the corporate world and the positive effect on the community.

 In his remarks, Mr. Sandhu attributed his success to the rich values that were instilled by his mother, inspired by his wife, children and the rest of the family and friends.  He expressed his comments on being successful, cohesive, forward thinking and looking outside of the box.  Mr. Sandhu closed his remarks with a quotation: 

“Give me the courage to change the things I can And have patience to accept the things, which I am unable to change And the wisdom to know the difference”
