NYX, Inc. has openings for the following positions:
JOB TITLE: Mechanical Engineer
JOB DUTIES: Analyze and design automotive component parts.
Convert designs into material prototype parts. Design and validate tools. Design, develop
and maintain all manufacturing machinery and secondary equipment along with all fixtures and
devices. Design procedures and processes necessary to optimize the process on the manufacturing
floor including PPAP submissions. Implement continuous improvement methods. Serve as
interface with customer’s Engineering, Supplier Quality and Purchasing departments.
Travel and/or relocation required. Use of Pro-E, Pro-Model, AutoCAD.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
or related field. Plus 1 year in the job offered or 1 year in a related occupation including Project Engineer or related
experience. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein.
40hrs/week, 8AM-5PM.
JOB TITLE: Project Manager
JOB DUTIES: As part of a team, select, test and
implement materials for various parts of the project processes. Track and resolve
program issues including technical, sales, manufacturing and quality. Track all
engineering changes and their impact on cost and timing. Keep current on engineering
deliverables. Act as liaison with Product Development Group and customers to resolve
various concerns with OEM. Provide support on the floor related to process, equipment,
layout and training. Ensure design and data control. Travel and/or relocation
required.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or equivalent in
Mechanical Engineering or related field. Plus 6 months in the job offered or 6 months
in a related occupation including Mechanical Engineer, Engineer, or related experience.
Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the
requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week, 8AM-5PM.
